Stonyfield Yogurt $.40, plus rewards! At Key Foods!

I am loving Stonyfield Yogurt!!! And I am loving their rewards program... 25 points and I get 2 Happy Baby Products for free!! There are also plenty of other great rewards, free yogurt of Nature's Path products, chocolate, etc... But we've been getting the Happy Baby coupons and haven't had to buy oatmeal or rice cereal for the baby in months!! I think we're going to try out some of the frozen Happy Baby products this month!

This week Key Foods has a sale on Stonyfield Yogurt 10 for $6.00 on the 6 ounce cups. I had a bunch of $1.00/5 coupons from a Whole Foods promotional tent on Park Avenue a few weeks back. So this makes them 10/$4.00!! I also had a Catalina print out for BOGO on the 6 ounce cups. So I'll go back later this week for some more yogurt, which will make them $.30 each for the 2 cups!

There are also plenty of coupons available (and reloaded monthly) on Stonyfield's website, which still make great deals on yogurt, especially when you join the rewards program!

Happy yogurt eating!!!

$.79 for 2 jars of Skippy Natural Peanut Butter!! Key Foods!

Today was a BEAUTIFUL Fall-like windy day in Brooklyn. It was also NOT a school day thanks to Rosh Hashanah, so my husband (a school teacher), daughter and I set out to run errands and enjoy a nice leisurely morning walk!

Last night before bed I came across a link for a Skippy Natural Peanut Butter $.50/1 coupon (thanks MoneySavingMom ) and knew that it paired well with a Buy One Get One Free Sale at Key Foods. It may not be the best choice in the world of peanut butters, but we love it!

It also turns out that Key Foods has a catalina for $1.00 of your next purchase when you buy 2 Skippy peanut butters!

So my total purchase: 2 jars of Skippy($2.79)
2 $.50/1 coupons (-$1.00)
$1.00 catalina (it didn't print, so they gave me $1.00 in cash)

Total: $0.79

I'd say that's pretty good for 2 jars of peanut butter!

Pathmark: Stonyfield Yogurt and Avocados

I got a few things at Pathmark earlier this week, but I was most excited about:
Stonyfield Yogurt 10/$5.00
$.50/3
printable
I was only able to print one coupon, but $4.50 for 10 Stonyfield Yogurts is excellent! Oh, how I wish our Pathmark doubled coupons!
(Also, I'll enter codes on MyStonyfieldRewards to earn free prizes)

Hass Avocados $.88
Probably the best price I've paid in a long time!

Target: Cheap Baby Wipes and Shout

I was able to snag some Pampers baby wipes for $.39 earlier this week and Shout spray for $.44! I was very excited because we were running low on wipes and now with diaper leaks and new mommy brain clumsiness, we can always use more Shout!

Pampers Wipes $2.39
$2.00 coupon-6/6 P&G

Shout $2.09
$.55 coupon- on the bottle
$1.10 Target printable

Rite Aid: How I MADE MONEY yesterday!!!

My visit to Rite Aid yielded a profit yesterday. I had a scenario planned that would have made $6.00, but my Rite Aid was out of the $3.99 Lubriderm (free after coupons). So I improvised and walked away making $2.oo after rebates.

Blink Tears $7.99- $7.99 SCR
$2.00 coupon- 5/16 Redplum insert

Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor $9.99-$5 SCR
$4.oo coupon-6/6 P&G insert

Dove Chocolate $2.88
$1.00 Rite Aid Video Values (May)

$5/$20 RA Video Values coupon

Total: $9.86 out of pocket
Will receive $12.98 rebate
$3.12 profit after rebates!!

I did end up going to another Rite Aid and was able to get one bottle of Lubriderm for free, using the in ad coupon, plus $2 printable
https://www.lubriderm.com/page.jhtml?id=/lubriderm/include/coupon.inc which gave me overage for a soda!

Are there any Brooklyn couponers out there?

I have been learning the ropes of surviving and thriving in Brooklyn using coupons for the past two years! Playing the pharmacy games at CVS and Rite Aid has provided a stash of household products for free and close to free. And now with a 4 month old I have been faced with the challenge of finding baby deals...diapers, wipes, creams, shampoo, the list goes on.

I have also been matching coupons with sales at my local Key Foods, Met Foods and Pathmark to bring our food bills down.

I have not been able to find another "deal" blogger in Brooklyn and wanted to put feelers out there. Is there anyone else out there playing the pharmacy games in Brooklyn? Are you matching sales and coupons at our local grocers? Would you be interested in having a blog to come to for Brooklyn grocery and pharmacy deals? If so, please let me know!
